February Defence: 12 PBI-ers

Wednesday, 8 February 2017 saw 12 students of the English Language Education Study Programme of Sanata Dharma University Yogyakarta succeed in oral exams, defending their final papers or theses, starting at 7.30 am till 1.20 pm in two exam rooms. All the 12 examinees were declared successful in their defence. Categorically, there are three main fields or streams for PBI students to choose, namely teaching/education, educational linguistics and educational literature. One of the theses defended deals with (educational) sociolinguistics and is entitled Politeness Strategies Used by the Main Characters in Twilight Movie.
