Good Friday, Passion of Christ

Good Friday (Jumat Agung) was solemnly commemorated by Catholics at Saint Robert Bellarmine Chapel (Kapel Santo Robertus Bellarminus) of Sanata Dharma University, Mrican, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Hundreds of worshippers attended the two-hour commemoration led by three Society of Jesus (SJ) priests, namely Father Muji, Father Hary and Father Banar. The celebration, whose theme read "Be peaceful again with the universe" took place on Friday 3 April 2015 starting 3 pm and ending 5 pm. Why at 3 pm? Because Catholics believe that it is the time Jesus died. The congregation held the passion of Christ (Kisah Sengsara Yesus) duing the service.
