Current Topics in ELT, Flamingos

Current Topics in English Language Teaching (ELT) was a three-hour lecture delivered by Dr Willy Renandya in Kadarman Room of the Central Building of Sanata Dharma University Yogykarta on Tuesday 18 June 2013, starting 10 am till 1 pm. The general lecture was organized by the Graduate Programme of English Language Studies (S2 KBI). Renandya is a PBI alumnus who is now an academic staff member of the National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore. Interestingly, Renandya also introduced a learning strategy called FLAMINGOS, which refers to Fluency, Lexis, Amount and Intensity, Motivation, Input, Grammar, Output, and Set expressions.
