Congratulations! Wednesday afternoon, at 1.30 pm, 11 December 2013, twenty-one USD PBI students were declared to have passed their oral exams or viva voce. As usual, examinees had three main tracks of choices, namely English learning (teaching), literature and linguistics. The minimum length for a final paper is 20 pages and for a thesis 40 pages. One of the students who chose to focus on linguistics, more specifically on Syntax, investigated lexical and structural ambiguity collected from the daily Jakarta Post.
To mark their successful oral defence, fresh PBI graduates show a victory sign -- V
