Laurentia Sumarni S.Pd., M.Trans.St.

Laurentia Sumarni got her Bachelor’s Degree from Universitas Sanata Dharma in 2001, majoring in English Language education. In 2010, she pursued her Master’s Degree in Translation Studies from the School of Language Studies, the Australian National University, Canberra, Australia. She currently serves as a lecturer in the English Language Education Study Program, Universitas Sanata Dharma, Yogyakarta. She is a Ph.D. student at the School of Teaching and Learning, majoring in Foreign, Second, and Multilingual Language Education at the Ohio State University, Ohio, USA. Her research interests include translation studies, vocabulary learning, sociolinguistics, and multilingual language education. She can be reached at marnie@usd.ac.id.
