Learning Program Design and Assessment
This course gives students insights into the concept of curriculum, its program design, and implementation. In this course, the students are introduced to the concept of curriculum in
general and also to the current curriculum used in Indonesia and its elements including syllabus and lesson unit plan. Besides, students are equipped with the knowledge of material development. Having the knowledge of curriculum, of its elements, and of material development, students are also given practice to develop teaching materials for grade schools based on the current curriculum used. In addtition, students are introduced to the concept of language assessment and practice making the assessment. As the final product, the students are expected to generate a set of lesson planning documents including the assessment.
