General Election, Faculty of English Letters, Sanata Dharma University 2021
The English Literature General Election Commission is currently preparing a new chairperson for the 2021/2022 English Literature Student Association.
By choosing "SIGMA (Social, Interaction, General, and Massive Association" as the theme, three candidates are participating in this election. The first candidates are William and Gading. The second candidates are Nino and Leo, and the third candidates are Niko and Julieth. Having different backgrounds and visions, these three candidates compete fairly by proving their vision, mission, and performance during the next two-week campaign period (19 September -1 October 2021).
The present selection of the chairman and vice-chairman of the Student Association is very lively. It is because, amid the pandemic that does not subside, the enthusiasm of English Literature students remains high. After the candidates are selected and pass the interview before the representatives of each batch, they will defend their perspectives in a debate on October 4, 2021, in Koenjdono Room. This debate will focus on studying the candidates' concerns on various issues about students and campus lives. The candidates will also answer some queries from the panelists. The election will be held on October 12-14, 2021, utilizing the established system provided by the General Election Commission of Universitas Sanata Dharma student body. The inauguration will be held on November 10, 2021, on National Hero Day to foster nationalism as the foundation of leadership.
