The Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Psychology is being held on Friday, 16th September 2022 at Sanata Dharma University Campus III Paingan Main Building Hall. The theme of this ceremony is “Inventing the Greatest”. There are 22 graduands who will get the academic title “Sarjana Psikologi (S.Psi)” on Saturday, 17th September 2022. This ceremony was guided by Mikhael Maheswara (21C) dan Yurika Novitasari (20C) as Master of Ceremony (MC). Series of events started by singing the national anthem, Indonesia Raya, and Hymne Sanata Dharma. Next, are opening prayer guided by Fransisca Melinda (18D) and a speech from the Dean of Faculty of Psychology, Dr. Yohannes Babtista Cahya Widiyanto M.Si. He quoted that the future may be full of uncertainty. But, our main purpose is to learn and understand everything while we live. By then, you will realize that you need to grow our knowledge in order to prepare ourselves. Through that, we will be able to train ourselves to be more focused to approprietly respond and give out feedback in a timely and practical manner as a psychology student.
The next session will be handing over mementos to the graduands from Thesis Advisory Lecturer. Followed by the speech from Jovina Jodiputri (18D) as The Best Graduate of Faculty of Psyhology 2022. Jovina said that her study in psychology has taught her several things. First, adapting is crucial. Second, she has now realized the importance of asking and receiving help from others. She quoted that to provide and receiving support can creates a synergy that motivates each others.

Drs. Agustinus Mujiono as the parents representative will deliver a speech to express the parents gratitude towards the lecturers for guiding, assiting, and directing students from the start until they could graduate. He sincerely express the parents appreciation for the lecturers effort and keen composure in guiding the students. The event ended with closing prayer, information regarding job fair, and congratulating the graduands for completing their studies at Faculty of Psychology Sanata Dharma University.
