Lucianus Suharjanto, S.J. is a Jesuit faculty member. He obtained his bachelor’s degree majoring in cultural philosophy from the Driyarkara School of Philosophy, Jakarta in 1996, and then in 2001 majoring in theology from the Loyola School of Theology, Ateneo de Manila University, Manila. After a five-year mission in Myanmar as an English teacher (2001-2005) and has completed the formation program in the Jesuit Order, he pursued his Master’s studies in English and American Literature, at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Fordham University of New York, USA (2007-2009). He currently serves as a lecturer in English Language Education Study Program, Universitas Sanata Dharma, Yogyakarta, and is pursuing a doctoral degree in educational philosophy. His research interests include Reflective Pedagogy, Political Prose, and Literary and Cultural Theory. He can be reached at harjantosj@usd.ac.id or harryjana@gmail.com.
