International Program

Seeing the world with us

No matter what your desired academic or career path, PBI Sanata Dharma University provides the best academic opportunities for students to ensure their success nationally and globally. PBI Sanata Dharma University provides students with wide array of International programs designed to make students well-rounded in various aspects.

To be given the opportunity to carve your own path to success is a privilege, let alone to receive full supports along the way. Meet Hedwig Tiara Svayambhu, PBI Sanata Dharma University's former student, and let's hear her experience in commencing International programs in PBI.
Joining International programs have becomes one of the best decisions during my uni life. I got to experience many things I would never experience if I visited other countries only for holidays. I could be a tourist as I explored some places, an international student as I took classes with different settings, a representative from Indonesia as I got chances to promote the cultures, foods, languages, and beautiful places to other friends coming from different countries.

It’ll be an eye-opening experience for everyone who decides to join! You’ll know how it feels like when you miss home but you don’t want to leave the country where you stay.”

These pictures were taken when I did my teaching internship in Saint Aloysius Gonzaga, Myanmar. It was a pleasant experience as I got a chance to teach young learners for the first time, collaborate with local teachers, and get new insight from the students and staffs. Even though I only spent two weeks there, this experience completely changed my perspective not only about education but also about life.

I was able to stay in a foreign country for a semester as I joined SMS-ACUCA program in 2019. I spent my 8th semester in Wenzaa Ursuline University of Languages, Taiwan. During my stay, I got to learn many different subjects other than English.

These pictures were taken during The Association of Southeast and East Asian Catholic Colleges and Universities Conference in 2017. The host for this conference was Assumption University, Thailand. The participants had a chance to stay for a week and listen to many insightful lectures and workshops with the theme “Catholic Universities and Inclusive Education: Transforming Spaces, Promoting Practices, Changing Minds.”
