Being an English Teacher at K12 Schools

Teachers' task is more than dealing with students. They care for the passion which drives them to lead pupils. Each of them knows how students deserve the sincere service along with pupils' growth. Here are the short recap of the webinar with our two speakers, Ms Christina Sekar (PBI 2005) and Ms Ardiyah Niken (PBI 1995).

Christina Sekar

Being a teacher in Global Sevilla School, she was inspired by the motto of "Leading Mindfulness-based School".
Apart from the inspiring motto, Ms. Sekar experienced the wonderful thing about being a teacher; she could encourage her student to show the potention. Indeed, she becomes a teacher because of the willingness to live an impactful life to others.

Ardiyah Niken

Ms. Niken, the english teacher of SMAN 1 Kalasan, confidently told the audience, "I am proud being a teacher". Helping student is her main spirit in enjoying her proffession. Even she empatheticly spoke about the heartbreaking thing about students' failure because she felt responsible for them. After all, to her, being a teacher is wonderful.
