International Teaching Exposure for MPBI 2018 Students

 Maria Dewi Rosari, Anita Galuh Sri Hapsari, Aprilia Arnis Ginting, and Dyah Ayu Kusuma Wardani became the representatives of EEMP in an international English Language Teaching (ELT) Practicum at St. Aloysius Gonzaga (SAG) Institute of Higher Studies.
The four post-graduate students accompanied by Paulus Kuswandono, Ph.D. joined the program for approximately two weeks, starting from March 16 - March 30, 2019.
During the program, the EEMP students were given opportunities to teach Burmese students who were taking English for Young Learners (EYL) program and Global English Language (GEL) program of SAG.
Besides, the four EEMP students were also afforded a special opportunity to visit SAG's outreach program by which the institution provided voluntary-based education for those underprivileged children in Shan State, Taunggyi.
This program is an alternative teaching practicum for EEMP students that sends students to higher institutions in either Myanmar or Thailand. This coming June, the study program will be sending some other post-graduate students to join the same program that will be conducted at Xavier Learning Community in Chiang Rai, Thailand. [mdr]
