CURRICULUM

CURRICULUM

 

The curriculum of the GP-ELS consists of foundation courses, core courses (including thesis) and elective courses. To graduate, a student has to complete between 42 and 48 credits, which include foundation, core, and elective courses. It is worth knowing that all the core courses in one stream or concentration are elective in nature to the students of the other streams or concentrations. The distribution of the courses and credits is as follows:

All courses are conducted in English and the thesis is also written in English.

 

The core courses include the graduate research project, the outcome of which is a proposal, and thesis. All courses are conducted in English and the thesis is also written in English.

 FOU: Foundation course

 EDU: Education course

 LIN: Linguistic course

 LIT: Literature Course

 TH: Thesis (course)

 ELE: Elective course

 The second digit: The semester in which the course is offered

  

Example

FOU 511: It is a foundation course, level 5, offered in the first semester, foundation course number 1. The last digit does not imply the importance of the course.

LIT 522: It is a core course, level 5, offered in the second semester, listed in the curriculum as the second core course

THE 641: It refers to thesis, level 6, offered in semester the fourth semester.
