 The very first edition of the Indonesian Journal of English Language Studies (IJELS) has been published by graduate (S2) students of the Graduate Programme in English Language Studies (Kajian Bahasa Inggris -- KBI) of Sanata Dharma University Yogyakarta. The debut edition consists of six articles written by the USD ELS students. The next edition has been scheduled to publish in September 2015. To mark the publication of the first edition of IJELS, the journal management, together with ELS academics, held an evaluation meeting on Monday 4 May 2015.
The Indonesian Journal of English Language Studies (IJELS), print and online versions, is a journal dedicated to contribute to the improvement of English Language Studies in Indonesia. IJELS is managed and published in Yogyakarta by English Language Studies of Sanata Dharma University Yogyakarta. It is expected that it will bring a new color of knowledge sharing to enrich the flourish of English Language teaching and studies. Hopefully, the journal would reach as many people as possible.
