 Master in Management of Sanata Dharma University allows people who are interested in Management area to join the program. In the year of 2015, Master in Management of Sanata Dharma University (MMUSD) accepted a foreigner from Mahajango, Western part of Madagascar. A student named Randriamanjato Menja Andrianina or Menja finished his bachelor degree at UPRIM (Universite Prive de Madagascar).
He chose Master of Management because he wants to work at the Ministry of Finance and Budget in Madagascar. He said that the Ministry of Finance and Budget in Madagascar requires the candidates who have high skill (master) especially those who have education experiences from abroad. “I have looked for some universities in Yogyakarta, but I couldn’t find the appropriate one. Then, I found that MMUSD gives a lot of opportunities to me to continue my study. That’s the reason I choose Sanata Dharma University especially MMUSD as my Master degree of Management,” said Menja whose hobbies are swimming and traveling.
After studying for more than 3 months, Menja said that he got some interesting things in MMUSD. He said that the way and the system in MMUSD is completely new for him. In Madagascar, the students study based on the theory only, but in MMUSD, the practice and the presentation work is awesome to him. He said, seminar is one of his favorite activities in MMUSD. MMUSD always organizes Seminar in order to enlarge students’ knowledge. Menja also adds, “Being a foreigner in MMUSD is exciting because I can exchange the knowledge with many classmates and lecturers from different area. In addition, I am the only one international student in my class, therefore, I have to do my best to achieve my goals in MMUSD.”
When he is asked about the expectation after graduated from MMUSD, he expects going home with many experiences, skills and knowledge. He also plans to make his own company as his own business in the future. “Hopefully, my decision doing my master will help me more on my plan.”
