Welcome to Sanata Dharma!

Driyarkara BuildingSanata Dharma University (USD) is located on the island of Java, 5 kilometers or 3 miles from the city center of Yogyakarta, which is a student, tourism, and culture center where approximately 300,000 young people study in more than 130 higher educational institutions. This university is situated about 600 kilometers or 375 miles from Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia.

Sanata Dharma has five campuses: Campus I (main campus) in Mrican (for the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, the Faculty of Economics, and the Faculty of Letters), Campus II on Affandi Street (for the Graduate Programs and Administration Offices), Campus III in Paingan (for the Faculty of Science and Technology, the Faculty of Pharmacy, and the Faculty of Psychology), Campus IV in Kentungan (for the Faculty of Philosophy), and Campus V in Kotabaru (for the Department of Catholic Religion Education).

AJCU-AP Service Learning Program 2016: "Serving the City, Serving the People"

The theme of AJCU-AP Service Learning Program 2016 was “Serving the City, Serving the People: Developing Youth Social Movement within the Urban Communities”. The background was inspired by the concern about city building without citizens’ involvement. Student participants were invited to participate in youth social community movement activities in Yogyakarta as their participation in community development.
