Welcome to Sanata Dharma!

Sanata Dharma University (USD) is located on the island of Java, 5 kilometers or 3 miles from the city center of Yogyakarta, which is a student, tourism, and culture center where approximately 300,000 young people study in more than 130 higher educational institutions. This university is situated about 600 kilometers or 375 miles from Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia.

Sanata Dharma has five campuses: Campus I (main campus) in Mrican (for the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, the Faculty of Economics, and the Faculty of Letters), Campus II on Affandi Street (for the Graduate Programs and Administration Offices), Campus III in Paingan (for the Faculty of Science and Technology, the Faculty of Pharmacy, and the Faculty of Psychology), Campus IV in Kentungan (for the Faculty of Philosophy), and Campus V in Kotabaru (for the Department of Catholic Religion Education).

Porticus Asia Visits Grant Receivers

Porticus, an organization paying high attention toward education by giving grant to students from any area including Indonesia visited the grant receiver at Sanata Dharma University on July, 14th 2015. Coming as the representatives from Porticus Asia were Raymond Chua and Philip Booth, while the representatives from Sanata Dharma was F.X. Ouda Teda Ena, M.Pd., Ed.D. On the visit, students under KBKK (an NGO in Mentawai) and Baku Peduli (an NGO in Timor East Nusa Tenggara) got a chance to share their experiences and insight during their study at Sanata Dharma and their thought about their homeland.
